WHO WE HELP

Our services are available to your entire family—not only the person receiving hospice care.

We are here for:

  • Patients facing end-of-life
  • Spouses and partners
  • Children
  • Grandchildren
  • Parents of patients
  • Close friends who are like family
  • Anyone in your support circle

Support Continues After Loss

We remain available to family members for at least 13 months following your loved one’s passing.

HOW WE CAN HELP

We offer support with:

  • Difficult Emotions

Sadness, anxiety, fear, anger, guilt—whatever you’re feeling.

  • Family Communication

Helping family members talk about what matters.

  • Caregiver Stress

    Supporting those providing daily care.

  • Anticipatory Grief

    Preparing emotionally for what’s ahead.

  • Children’s Concerns

    Helping kids understand and cope.

  • Family Conflicts

    Working through disagreements.

  • Bereavement

Grief support after your loved one passes.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Meet Where You Are Comfortable

We can visit you at home, meet by phone, or video call—whatever works best.

  • Private and Confidential

What you share is private. We are not here to judge—only to help.

  • Your Pace, Your Way

Some people want to talk about deep feelings. Others prefer practical problem-solving. Both are fine.

  • Individual or Family

We can meet with you alone, with your family, or both.

  • No Extra Cost

Services are included as part of your hospice care.

“You don’t have to have a crisis to reach out. Sometimes it just helps to have someone to talk to who understands.”

GETTING STARTED

You don’t need to prepare anything or have a specific problem to talk about.

Here’s what to expect:

  • I’ll introduce myself and explain my role.
  • We’ll talk about what’s on your mind.
  • Everything you share stays confidential.
  • There’s no pressure—this is your time.
  • We’ll figure out together what would be most helpful.

Common Questions:

Do I have to talk about my feelings?

Not at all. We can talk about practical things, family concerns, or just have a supportive conversation.

Is this like seeing a psychiatrist?

No. I’m a counselor focused on supporting your family. I don’t prescribe medication.

What if I’m not sure I need this?

That’s perfectly fine. Let’s just talk and see if it helps. No commitment required.
